Let's make money and enjoy the process!
Take your passion for your interest or hobby --- the ukulele in this example --- and YouTube, and make money! Anyone can do this. I'm not a marketing person or a techie. I just *love* YouTube!
If you already have a website, a YouTube account, and an idea of what to sell, I recommend The YouTube Marketing Course. It will help you optimize what you have so that you can get people to go to your website who will buy the products you are recommending or selling. It's an e-book that focuses on the actual steps to take on YouTube. These are simple things; it's just that it might not occur to non-marketers to use these techniques. The information is new and you can download it instantly. Worth every penny. The author is a down-to-earth, accessible (you can call him!) guy who writes in a conversational, non-nonsense style. And the bonuses include pages and pages of tips and resources about social media marketing (what you're doing but without the pressure). Join the affiliates program first and THEN buy the book. That way you'll get 40% of your money back with your first commission check, like getting rebate. Click here to jump-start your YouTube adventure!
If you're just starting, you'll need
1) a YouTube account --- yes, you need an actual account, which you can set up in 5 minutes.
2) a product or service to sell --- I recommend affiliates programs
3) a website --- I recommend a blog like the one you're reading now!
Let's continue with our ukulele example. You have a YouTube account with videos about ukuleles (you have fun making or collecting videos). You have a blog that has your articles and book reviews and photos and quotes and videos about ukuleles (you have fun creating or collecting that information). You have your affiliate link so that when people click to see the ukulele album (or ukulele case or ukulele fantasy vacation) you're recommending and they buy it, you get a commission. You've monetized your site in other ways, too. You're ready (and you've had fun the whole time)!
How do you make money with YouTube?
Where will all those eager buyers come from? From YouTube! Because you're watching videos and leaving nice comments, and you're subscribing and asking people to subscribe, friend-ing and asking to be friend-ed; you're being social. While you're doing that, *just ask* people in a friendly and respectful way to have a look at your website. They like you because you're being social and talking to them about something you're all passionate about: ukuleles! Isn't it great when you meet someone who shares your passion? It's like you both escaped from the same asylum!
There are some simple techniques that you can use to really stand out and get traffic to your website. The techniques I use are from The YouTube Marketing Course. I can't recommend it enough. Join the affiliates program first and THEN buy the book. That way you'll get 40% of your money back with your first commission check.
